Jarvis Brookfield is a UK-based artist exploring the profound intersections of spirituality, identity, and the human experience. Drawing on his mixed African and British heritage, Brookfield’s paintings reflect a unique blend of cultural perspectives, inviting viewers into contemplative spaces where the boundaries between the seen and unseen dissolve. His work is rooted in a deep reverence for nature and the mysteries that shape our internal worlds and experiences.

Influenced by both traditional and expressive techniques, his vibrant and semi-abstract pieces focus on process and discovery. Through his use of line, colour, abstraction, and form, Brookfield’s work extends an invitation for introspection, encouraging a deeper engagement with the self and the unseen forces at play in our lives.

Born of mixed African and British heritage, in Croydon, England in 1992, Jarvis Brookfield is an artist who spent his formative years in Derby and studied Fine Art at De Montfort University in Leicester. In 2021, he was awarded the People's Choice Prize as part of the Robert Walters UK New Artist of the Year Award, where a collection of his paintings were exhibited at Saatchi Gallery in London. In 2022, he was commissioned by The World Reimagined to create a globe for their nationwide arts educational project. Brookfield is currently based in Leicester, England.
